WELL THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL...ON TO 2008
THE LAST FEW WEEKS HAS BEEN VERY BUSY FOR THE CLUB. WE PUT TOGTHER HOLIDAY BASKETS AND COLLECTED CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR THE BREWSTER FAMILY AND OTHERS.
BY NOW YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE E-MAIL THAT PRINCIPAL MILLS FROM BUNKER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SENT. IT CERTAINLY HELPS TO REMIND US OF WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO.
WE EVEN FOUND TIME TO CELEBRATE AS WELL AS WE HAD OUR CLUB'S ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY AT THE GRUNDSTEDT'S CHATEAU. THE HIGHLIGHT BEING OUR USUAL "WHITE ELEPHANT" GIFT EXCHANGE. THOSE WHO CAME HAD ALOT OF FUN. (IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE THOSE WE HAVE NOT SEEN IN A WHILE JOIN US, BUT PERHAPS 2008 WILL CHANGE THAT.)
AS YOU LOOK FORWARD TO 2008, WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN MIND TO ACCOMPLISH
WHATEVER IT IS, BE SURE TO START IT OFF WITH A SAFE NEW YEAR'S CELEBRATION WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY OR AT HOME WITH LOVED ONES.

Hello Everyone!
Keylympics is tentative scheduled for March 8th, 2008. We are forming a committee to head up the event. This event is pretty much Crazy Kompetition for Infants (CKI South) but our version for the Key Clubbers. This is one of our major kiwanis family events for the year and the success of this years event will depend on everyone! You are receiving this email because you signed up to be on the Kiwanis Family Committee.
Rachel headed up this event last year. Unfortunately she will be unable to attend March 8th because she will be at Kiwanis Mid Year North manning the supply sales. However, she has agreed to help out with the planning of this years Keylympics and serve as an advisor to the event. What I need is for someone to chair the event in her absence, preferably someone who has worked with key club before or was in key club. The chair will work directly with Rachel and myself in planning the event. You will be in charge of forming your committee, delegating tasks and motivating your committee to produce results.
Please let Rachel or myself know by Tuesday, January 29th if you are interested in filling this position.
